Panerai Luminor Marina and others fake watches

This year, Panerai is ‘soft on the outside, strong on the inside.’ It may not look like much on the outside, but it is more solid on the inside than ever. The Luminor Marina, a particular favorite among enthusiasts, has returned after a major renewal.

The Luminor Marina was first introduced in 1993, along with the Luminor and Mare Nostrum, when replica Panerai was declaring its popularization. Initially, it was distinguished from the general Luminor by the small seconds at 9 o’clock, but now the line has become ambiguous. This is because the second hand is used up to the Luminor base line. These days, the Luminor Marina is thus differentiating itself in another way. Most models feature an automatic movement with a date function in the traditional ‘Luminor 1950’ case. Of course, the iconic small seconds at 9 o’clock remain. The new Luminor Marina, which is being introduced this year, also follows the recent formula. So at first glance, you might wonder what has changed. When you take them apart one by one, you can immediately tell that a new generation has begun.
The new Luminor 1950 case is a signal of a generational change. The diameter is the Luminor’s basic 44mm. The thickness is the kick. It is about 12% thinner than the previous one at 13.7mm. Thanks to this, the weight has also been reduced by about 15%. The twist is the water resistance. It has increased significantly from the previous generation (300m water resistance) to 500m. The secret to being able to go into deeper water with a thinner case is, of course, inside the fake watches. The automatic caliber P. 980 (4.2mm thick), the thinnest Panerai movement with a full rotor, replaces the existing caliber P. 9010 (6mm thick). Based on the smaller movement, it is possible to optimally utilize the space inside the case and kill two birds with one stone (thickness and water resistance). The new P. 980 boasts the same specifications as before, such as supporting a power reserve of 3 days despite being much thinner. Thanks to this, I think many other models will switch to this movement in the future.
The face is familiar at first glance. Panerai’s signature three-dimensional sandwich dial has the signature small seconds at 9 o’clock and the date window on the opposite side. The collection name at 12 o’clock remains the same, but the Automatic wording that was right below the brand name at 6 o’clock has disappeared. Opinions are divided on the wording indicating the winding method. Some say it’s neater without it, while others say it doesn’t match the proportions of the two-line collection name. The one change that cannot be debated is the luminescence. Thanks to the introduction of Super-LumiNova X2, it is said to emit light about 10% brighter than before.
The next-generation Luminor Marina comes in five versions: black, blue, white, light blue, and green. The black and white models have a matte finish, while the other three models have a sun-brushed finish. The green dial model is also available with a special titanium case. All others come with stainless steel cases. The straps also vary slightly depending on the version. The black, blue, and white models come with crocodile leather, while the green version comes with nubuck leather as standard, and the light blue model comes with a metal bracelet.

The unique bracelet, designed with the motif of the Luminor’s signature crown guard, gradually tapers towards the buckle. This makes it more comfortable to wear than a regular bracelet. Convenience features include an extension system that allows you to extend the length of the bracelet by 2mm on both sides with a simple pull. Not only the leather strap, but also the metal bracelet supports the PAM Click Release System™ that allows you to easily remove and attach it without any special tools.
The product prices are 11.8 million won for Black (PAM03312), Blue (PAM03313), and White (PAM03314), 13.21 million won for Light Blue (PAM03323), and 13.21 million won for Green (PAM03325), which is presented alone as ‘Luminor Marina Titanio’ due to its titanium case.
The Luminor Perpetual Calendar GMT was first introduced in 2021, when it came first with a green dial and Panerai’s exclusive Platinumtech™ case, followed by a blue dial, Goldtech™ and a Goldtech™ version with a black tinted glass front that subtly revealed what was inside. This year, it has a subtly different look with a Platinumtech™ case and blue tinted glass.

The 44 mm PlatinumTech™ case (water-resistant to 50 m) is the same as the Luminor Marina, from the ‘Luminor 1950’ line. The surface of the unique crown guard is engraved with the abbreviation ‘REG. T.M’, which stands for Registered Trademark, and the middle case side has a U shape that tapers towards the bottom. Incidentally, PlatinumTech™ is known to be around 40% harder than regular platinum thanks to the physical properties enhanced by Panerai’s exclusive platinum material.
